Bangladesh ace allrounder Shakib Al Hasan claimed his 200th career one-day international wicket during the third and final ODI of the 3-match ODI series against South Africa at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Wednesday.

Shakib reached the landmark by sending back South Africa skipper Hashim Amla in the third ball of 13th over. The South African skipper Amla tried to drive the delivery which drifted in and then turned away only to touch the edge of his bat and then find wicketkeeper Mushfique's gloves.

Earlier, he sent back South Africa batsman Faf du Plessis in a similar fashion on the first ball of the 7th over to make Plessis his 199th wicket in ODI.

Shakib also sent back Farhaan Behardien in the pavilion. Behardien down the track and pulled to long on, taken on the second attempt, excellent catch in the deep by Sabbir Rahman.

With this feat, Shakib become the seventh player to have 4,000 runs and 200 wickets in ODI after Sanath Jayasuriya, Shahid Afridi, Jacques Kallis, Abdul Razzaq, Chris Harris and Chris Cairns.

The dependable all-rounder Shakib currently has 4382 runs and 201 wickets beside his name in 155 ODIs.
