Dhaka: Tamanna Akter finished 18th position in the woman 100m sprint athletics event of the 5th Commonwealth Youth Games now being held in Samoa.  

She took 13.01 second to finish the spot among the 28 participants.

In the men's 100m sprint, Sheikh Ashrafuzzaman also finished 18th position clocking 11.07 second among the 29 participants.

In the boxing event, M Robin Mia suffered 0-3 points defeat to India Gaurav Solanki in the 52 kg weight category.

In the squash man's singles event, M Saiful Mia lost to Patrick James by 0-3 set.
