Benapole: Three distinguished Bangladeshi citizens have received the 16th Mother Teresa Padak for various humanitarian activities.

The award recipients including Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) executive director Azadul Kabir Arzoo in charity activities, Chittagong City Corporation (CCC) mayor AJM Nasir Uddin in human services and Dr Gazi Mizanur Rahman in education.

Arch Bishap Thamas D’Suja handed over the awards to them at a function at Eastern Zone Cultural Center Auditorium at Salt Lake in Kolkata on Saturday.

Azadul Kabir Arzoo, executive director of Jagorani Chakra Foundation (JCF) said, ‘This padak is a not only my prestige, but for Bangladesh.’
