Dhaka: A three-day photo exhibition, comprising rare and unseen photographs of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, begins in the capital on Thursday.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the exhibition, titled Chitragathai Shokhgatha at South Plaza, Sangsad Bhaban in the evening.

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq will also join the inauguration programme. The DNCC has arranged the exhibition, which will remain open for public from 7:00pm, Thursday.

The exhibition will be organised marking the National Mourning Day on 15 August, the day Bangabandhu, along with his family members, was assassinated in 1975 by a group of renegade army officers during a military coup.
