Dhaka: A discussion and two-day photo exhibition Joys and Sorrows of Child Labours by Shakil Hossain, organised by Ghasful, a media house, was held on 21 August 2015 at Biswa Shahittya Kendro in Dhaka.

Presided over by director general of directorate of Family Planning and renowned rhythm-writer Alam Talukder, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Professor AAMS Arefin Siddiq, inaugurated the show as the chief guest.

Began with poetry recital by Kamrul Hasan and Mushfiq Hassan Shabab, Ata Sarkar introduced the programme and Advocate Parvin Akter presented the keynote paper, while Ali Imam, Nurul Karim Nasim, Shafiqul Islam Selim, Jharna Rahman, Jajabar Mintoo, Anwar Hasan Babu and Shakil Hossain spoke on the occasion.
