‘Kemon Budget Chai’ starts on NTV
Dhaka: ‘Kemon Budget Chai’ (the budget we want), a pre-budget view exchange programme, jointly organised by International Television Channel Limited (NTV) and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), has started on Tuesday.
The programme is being airing live at 8:10am from Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on NTV.
Guests have joined from the Chattogram studio this year.
The programme is also being airing live on NTV’s digital platform NTV Online (ntvbd.com), Facebook page and YouTube channel.
Bangladesh Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith and other top personalities of country’s business community have attended the programme.
National Board of Revenue (NBR), Bangladesh Chairman Md. Mosharraf Hossain, former Governor of the Bangladesh Bank Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Director General of Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies (BIDS) K.A.S. Murshid, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) President Md. Siddiqur Rahman and Editor of The Financial Express A. H. M. Moazzem Hossain have attended the programme, among others.
FBCCI President Md. Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin is anchoring the programme.
‘Kemon Budget Chai’ is featuring the exchange of views on the budget of the current fiscal year.
Speakers at the programme are expected to express their ideas and views about the next budget of fiscal year 2018-2019, with the minister answering queries of the audience.
NTV Chief News Editor Jahirul Alam is overseeing the entire programme.
