18-member FBCCI team off to India
Dhaka: A 18-member business team led by Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) President Abdul Matlub Ahmed left Dhaka on Wednesday for India to participate in the North Eastern Business Summit beginning on Thursday at Imphal in Manipur state of India.
Indian Chamber of Commerce, Indian Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region and State Government of Manipur are organising the summit, said a press release.
Okram Ibobi Singh, Chief Minister of Manipur will inaugurate the Summit as Chief Guest while Tofail Ahmed, Commerce Minister of Bangladesh, will attend the Summit as special guest.
The main objectives of the summit are presenting the business potentials of Indian North Eastern states to the neighbouring countries, especially ASEAN countries.
