Matlub’s panel wins in 12 posts

Nitol Niloy Group Chairman Abdul Matlub Ahmad’s panel has won in 12 posts out of the 16 posts in the chamber group in Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) election.
In the biennial election, held on 23 May, other 4 posts were won by Monowara Hakim Ali’s panel members in the chamber group of the country’s apex trade body.
There will be 52 elected directors of which 32, 16 from chamber group and 16 from association group, will be directly elected from this election; while other 20 will be nominated from 20 leading chambers and associations.
Elected directors will select the president, a senior vice president, and a vice president on 25 May.
A total of 64 candidates of three panels took part in the election of chamber and association groups.
