Dhaka: Bangladesh's mobile financial services provider Bkash customers plan to purchase books at the month long ‘Amar Ekushey Grontho Mela 2017’ will get 10 percent cash back if they purchase the books through Bkash at the select publishers’ outlets.

A total of 112 leading publishing houses will accept Bkash payment at the book fair which began on February 1, 2017 at the Bangla Academy premises, the company said in a press release.

The cash back offer remains available for the customers till February 28, the last day of the fair. Bkash extended the same offer to its customers in the previous three occasions as well.

Bkash customers have to dial *247# to access the Bkash menu,  select ‘3’ for the ‘Payment ’ option and then follow the simple interactive steps to avail the payment service.

Customers do not need to pay any charge while making payment through Bkash. Customer will receive the cash back amount in his or her Bkash account within two working days.

Opening a Bkash account is free of cost. Any individual having a valid national ID card/passport or driving licence along with two copies of passport size photographs can open a Bkash account from any Bkash agent point. Bkash has more than 165,000 agent points across the country.
