Dhaka: The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) organised a post-budget discussion session on National Budget 2015-16 on 29 August, 2015 at the ICMAB Ruhul Quddus Auditorium in Dhaka.

The session was chaired by additional secretary of the ministry of finance Mohammad Muslim Chowdhury. ICMAB treasurer and Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd managing director Professor Swapan Kumar Bala FCMA, and Ranjan Kumar Bhowmik FCMA, member of Taxes Appellate Tribunal, Ministry of Finance presented the paper as resource persons. President of ICMAB ASM Shaykhul Islam presided over the function while secretary of ICMAB Mohammad Abdur Rahman Khan delivered the vote of thanks on the occasion. 

The main focus of the discussion was the changes on previous Budget and financial Act 2015-16 compared to previous so that the professional CMAs able to update their knowledge and play due role in public financial sector efficiently and honestly.

A number of professional CMAs took part in the question and answer Session which made the programme.
