Dhaka: Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student front of BNP, on Monday announced its 25-member panel for the Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (Ducsu) and hall Union’s polls scheduled for March 11, reports the UNB.

JCD’s DU unit General Secretary Abul Basar Siddiqi announced names of the candidates at a press briefing at Madhur Canteen. Mostafizur Rahman was nominated for the post of vice-president (VP), Khorsker Anisur Rahman Anik for general secretary (GS) and Khorshed Alam Sohel for assistant general secretary (AGS).

The panel includes posts of 13 general members, nine secretaries, a VP, a GS and an AGS.

The nine secretariat members are – Freedom Fighters Affairs Secretary Jafurul Hasan Nadim, Science and Technology Secretary Maksudur Rahaman, Common Room and Cafeteria Secretary Kaneta Yealamlam, International Affairs Secretary Ashraful Alam Uzzal, Literature and Publications Secretary Minhaz Ahmed Prince, Cultural Secretary Kaium ul Islam, Sports Secretary Moniruzzaman Mamun, Students Transport Secretary Mahfuzur Rahaman Chowdhury and Social Service Secretary Towhidul Islam.

The 13 members are – Habibul Bashar, Arif Hossain, Iqbal Hossain, Sayed bin Anawer, Shahab Uddin, Mahmudul Hasan, Safayet Hasnayen Sabit, Tanvir Azadi Sakib, Sultan Mohammed Salauddin Siddiq, Mohammed Sariful Islam, Imam Al Naser Mishuq, Abul Basar and Alamgir Hossain.
