Heading to Bangladesh in summer without an umbrella and sunscreen, visiting the country of six seasons without proper wardrobe?

With your flights and hotel booked, the luggage is the last thing stopping you from your vacation. It feels like a hard work, but if you follow some travel checklists and packing tips, you can avoid a vacation disaster.

Make a list

First of all you have to make a list to get a stress-free holiday. It sounds a little boring but separating your essentials from your desirables is the gateway to a great vacation.  Moreover, you have to keep in mind your luggage limitations.

Don’t forget the first aid kit

You can keep a small bag with the most necessary pills and medicine you might need. After all, you do not want to suffer from an exhausting headache, high-climate fever, and an upset stomach during your precious holiday. It is easy enough to pick up a domestic remedy, allergy meds, and asthma remedies. In some remote areas of Saint Martin’s, Rangamati, and Bandarban, medical services are not available with-no-trouble. So, keep your own medical store in your baggage.

Observe restrictions of luggage

Weigh your bags before you get to the airport and make sure you are within the restrictions, else, you will be forced to pay extra cash at the airport or even, have to say goodbye to your favourite shirt.

Save bag space for your holiday purchases

It is inevitable that you will be bringing more back home with you than you left with. Bangladesh is a country of traditional handicrafts, Jamdani saris, locally made fine cotton saris and many more. So, make sure you have room for your shopping.

Bounce the shoes

The most frustrating item of luggage is shoes. How many pair s of shoes you should take is dependent on how long your vacation might be. More important part is taking your shoes according to your vacation types. If you are going for an adventure at Tazing Dong, Keokaradong, Boga Lake and the Chittagong hill tracts area you must take a pair of strong sneakers. Take a pair of shoes for every realistic occasion of your trip.

Take minimum cosmetics

If you plan on travelling to Bangladesh in summer, it is likely that you will be able to pick up your sun lotion brands. If you really cannot live without your special face cream, try to take only as much as you will need during your trip.

Roll your clothes

Take your clothes rolling will help to reduce pesky wrinkles and creases in your gear. It will also save some much needed luggage space.

Do not forget the chargers

Do not forget to take your mobile phone and laptops adapters. Also keep a power bank as in some rural areas of Bangladesh you may not find facilities to charge up your gadgets.

Take valuables in hand luggage

Stay safe and store all your expensive luxuries, your camera to diamond ring, in your hand luggage.

Check the weather

Bangladesh is a country of most unpredictable weather. Check out the meteorological conditions even before planning for the trip. The meteorologists will always give you the best idea of what weather to expect on your trip. Also save room for umbrella, raincoats and others.

Cash

Remember to put some cash currency as you cannot find ATM booths all the places of Bangladesh. Moreover, not all the hotels, shops will accept your international credit cards.

Wherever you are heading towards, you are going to have great time. Just make sure through your list of activities beforehand so that you are able to bring everything you need and pick the right luggage. And pack light if you can use this ultimate packing checklist.

As a traveler always respects the people and places you go to visit. Never forget to admire their customs, their language.
