At least 40 killed in bomb attack on Libya police school

A truck rigged with explosives has crashed into a police training camp in Zliten, Libya. It exploded leaving at least 40 people dead, according to the city’s mayor. Up to 100 are believed to have injured, reported Reuters.
‘The port of Zliten is about 160 kilometers to the east of the capital Tripoli.’
‘No group has so far claimed responsibility for the apparent terror attack.’
‘Misurata Central Hospital has called on all citizens to donate blood to save the lives of those injured in the bombing.’
‘The Accident and Emergency Department of the Central Hospital reports that fifty wounded have been brought to the hospital so far.
A correspondent for Libya’s Al-Tadamun News Agency working at the site reports dozens have been killed or wounded.’
‘The explosion at the Libyan Interior Ministry training camp occurred at 8:00am local time, when a truck drove through the gates of the facility, the correspondent says.’
‘Reportedly, the camp accommodates up to 400 trainees.’
