Dhaka: Two Bangladeshis were killed in a road accident on Al Dhaid road in Sharjah of the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday.

The deceased could not be indentified immediately.

The accident took place when as a vehicle ran them over, leaving the duo dead on the spot, reports Khaleejtimes.

The bodies were sent to hospital morgue.

Meanwhile, police have launched an investigation into the accident and arrested the driver who hit the Bangladeshi expatriates due to speeding.
