Dhaka: The ruling Awami League will announce its election manifesto after allocation of symbols, said its presidium member Abdur Razzak on Saturday.

Awami League president and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will place the manifesto before the nation, he said after a meeting of the Manifesto Formulation Sub-committee at PM’s political office in Dhanmondi, reports the UNB.

Election manifesto is a matter of campaign while the election campaign has been restricted since the announcement of election schedule, he said.

‘So the leader (Sheikh Hasina) would place the manifesto before the nation after allocation of the symbols,’ he said.

He also hoped that the manifesto will be appreciated by the people of the country.
