At the age of 11, being a 6th grader, a girl was suddenly found to be pregnant for 7 months when her mother went to see a doctor. Being mentally depressed, the child was temporarily out of school.

The police said that they were investigating and clarifying information that a baby P.H.Y (born in 2007) has been pregnant for seven months.

Talking about her daughter who is suddenly pregnant, Ms. Y (the mother of P.H.Y) shared: ‘My husband died of liver cancer four years ago, every day I must pick up the bottles for sale to make money for two children to study. Whenever I go to work, Y. and her brother are at home’.

Previously, at the end of November, the neighbors advised Ms. L. to take Y. to the hospital so as to see what Y. was sick because her abdomen has been growing abnormally large, reports the feedytv.com.

On November 26, Ms. L took her daughter to a clinic and the doctors informed that Y. was pregnant 29 weeks, causing Ms. L to be ‘dumbfounded’.

According to Ms. L, when knowing that her daughter was pregnant, she repeatedly asked Y. who the father of the child in the belly was. Y. said that she got raped 4 times by a young man near the house. The first time was when Y. was studying at the end of the second semester of the fifth grade. The last time was about 10 days ago, Y. was on the way back to home after school.

According to Y, each time the rape scene was done, the young man threatened Y. so that Y. had to keep silent, otherwise, Y. would be killed.

Being too frightened by the threat, Y. did not dare to speak to anyone, even her mother.

Since Y. is pregnant, she has been depressed, often cries making her family do the procedures for Y. temporarily out of school. According to the police, after receiving information, they invited the victim’s family to testify.

The case is still in the process of clarification and the police are waiting for inspection results of functional agencies to continue processing according to regulations.
