Syngenta Bangladesh declares 15pc dividend

A M M Golam Towhid, Managing Director of Syngenta Bangladesh is handing over a dividend cheque to Md. Haiul Kuaium, Chairman of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited. The board of directors of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited declared 15 per cent cash dividend for shareholders for the year 2018 at its annual general meeting held at the Hotel Intercontinental in the city on Sunday. The Bangladesh government through BCIC holds around 40 per cent shares of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited.

Syngenta Bangladesh Limited, one of the leading multinational companies in crop protection and seed business, has declared 15 per cent cash dividend for its shareholders for the year 2018.

The board of directors of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited declared the dividend at its annual general meeting held at the Hotel Intercontinental in the city on Sunday, said a press release.

Md. Haiul Kuaium, Chairman of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) and also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Syngenta Bangladesh Limited presided over the meeting which was also attended by A M M Golam Towhid, Managing Director of Syngenta Bangladesh and directors from BCIC and Syngenta Bangladesh.

The Bangladesh government through BCIC holds around 40 per cent shares of Syngenta Bangladesh.
