BFF picks 29 booters for FIFA WC Qualifiers

Dhaka: Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) on Monday initially picked 29 footballers to join the residential training camp for the away match of the FIFA World Cup/AFC Asia Cup Qualifiers against Tajikistan on 12 November.  

Bangladesh played 1-1 draw with Tajikistan at Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka on 16 June. 

Earlier, Bangladesh were put in Group B with Australia, Jordan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh to play home and away qualifying matches. 

Selected players have been asked to report to team manager Amirul Islam Babu and team coach Saiful Bari Tito on Wednesday at 11:00am at the BFF House with their kits.  

Selected players are: Mazharul Islam, Rayhan Hasan, Nasiruddin Chowdhury, Yeasin Khan, Shahidul Alam, Yeamin Ahmed Chowdhury Munna, Jamal Bhuiyan, Mamunul Islam Mamun, Sohel Rana, Monayem Khan Raju, Kesto Kumar Bosh, Toklis Ahmed, Shakawat Hossain Ronny (Sheikh Jamal), Rasel Mahmud, Atiqur Rahman Meshu, Waly Faisal, Hemonta Vinsent Biswas, Tapu Barman, Rezaul Karim (Sheikh Russel KC), Nasirul Islam Nasir, Abdul Baten Majumder Komol, Aminul Islam Sojib, Shahidul Alam Shahed, Emon Mahmud (Abahani Ltd), Ashraful Islam Rana, Jewel Rana, Masuk Miah Zony (Mohammedan SC), Faisal Mahmud (Muktijoddha SKC) and Nabib Newaj Jobon (BJMC).
