Bangladesh Under-15 Women’s Football team clinched the title of the four-team Jockey Club Girls International Youth Invitational Football Tournament with all-win record after 6-0 win against hosts Hong Kong at Siu Sai Wan Sports Ground in Hong Kong on Sunday.

Tohura Khatun, who made a hat-trick against Asian power house Iran for 8-1 victory on Saturday, struck the 2nd successive hat-trick in the meet scoring three goals in the day’s game while Sajeda Khatun, Shamsunnahar and Anuching Mogini each one found the net for one goal apiece. 

Bangladesh dominated the first half with 3-0 as Tohura Khatun put her side ahead in the very 4th minute before Sajeda Khatun extended the lead in the 39th and Tohura found the net again in the 40th minute.

Bangladesh girls denied all-out efforts of Hong Kong in the 2nd half where Shamsunnahar and Anuching found the net in the 67th and 72nd minutes before Tohura completed her hat-trick in the 74th minute.

Tohura scored eight goals in the tournament with two hat-tricks and two goals in the opener against Malaysia for 10-1 win for Bangladesh.

Bangladesh needed a draw in the day’s match to win the championship, but dazzled again after their dominance in SAF championship.

Bangladesh scored 24 goals against two it conceded in three games of the meet.
