Dhaka: Bangladesh fast bowler Taskin Ahmed and left arm spinner Arafat Sunny were due to leave for Australia on Monday night to appear for bowling action test at National Cricket Centre Lab in Brisbane of Australia on September 8.

Both the cricketers will board their flight at about 11:00pm at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Taskin's bowling action will be tested at the Brisbane National Cricket Centre at 10:00am while Sunny will undergo his test at 2:00pm.

Chandika Hathurusingha, head coach of national cricket team, will accompany the cricketers there. They will practice on the day before their tests and are expected to return home on September 11.

Publication of the results, however, may take up to three weeks.

Sunny and Taskin were reported for suspect bowling actions during a World T20 match against Netherlands in India earlier this year. Since then, Taskin and Arafat have worked on modifying their respective actions and have even been tested by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

With the England series due in a month's time, the board is confident that both the bowlers will be available in time for the competition.
