Taskin, Sunny returning from actions tests in Australia

Dhaka: Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed and left-arm spinner Arafat Sunny are expected to arrive at Shahjalal International Airport here from Australia on Sunday night, following tests on their bowling actions after allegations of chucking.
Both took the test at an ICC-accredited laboratory that is part of the Brisbane National Cricket Centre in the state of Queensland.
They were accompanied by Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusingha during their test, said a Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) source on Saturday.
It will take around two weeks to know the results of their bowling action tests. Following the test, the duo spent a couple of days sightseeing around Australia.
The result of Taskin’s test is particularly important, as he has been included in the Tigers squad for the ODI series against Afghanistan, starting on September 25. He would also be part of the Tigers’ plans for the series to follow against England that starts October 7.
Taskin and Sunny were reported for suspect bowling actions during the World T20 championship in India held earlier this year, and were suspended following a test at an ICC-accredited centre in Chennai in March.
They left home for Australia on September 5.
