Lisbon: Sports agent Jorge Mendes is getting married on Sunday and his client, football star Cristiano Ronaldo, will be his best man.

Portuguese press said the wedding will take place in Oporto and is expected to be attended by players and coaches represented by his agency Gestifute.

Apart from Ronaldo, Real Madrid cohorts Fabio Coentrao and Pepe are among the expected guests.

According to information published on Wednesday by Jornal de Noticias, around 300 guests have been invited to the ceremony at the Sao Joao Baptista Church.

On Sunday, the 49-year-old agent will wed Sandra Barbosa, though the couple already got married in a civil ceremony in 2005 and have three children.

Mendes was previously married to Fernanda Farinha for 11 years. They have one daughter.
