Main hajj rituals set to begin tonight

Makkah: The main hajj rituals are set to begin at 10pm (Bangladesh time) on Tuesday amid tight security to prevent accidents.
Tens of thousands of Muslim pilgrims have already gathered in Makkah from around the world to perform the hajj.
Special Khutba (sermon) was delivered before Johr prayers today at Al-Masjid al-Haram (Grand Mosque) describing the hajj rituals of the next five days.
This year, the authorities concerned have taken adequate security measures to prevent accidents in Makkah during the hajj.
Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims are now carrying four types of identity (ID) cards and one sticker, including Iqama, and two separate ID cards provided by the Religious Affairs Ministry of Bangladesh and the Saudi Arabia government.
Among other three ones, one ID card was provided for staying at tents in Mina while yellow sticker was given for staying in Arafat, Muzdalifah and Makkah places.
The hajj pilgrims will move to the tent city of Mina after Tuesday evening and they will stay in tents there for one day. Then the Muslim pilgrims will move further to Mount Arafat.
The Saudi Arab's hajj ministry has already completed all preparations for the hajj, including keeping adequate buses standby, engaging adequate volunteers and security men there. Besides, helicopters were seen circling in the sky.
Among the Bangladeshi pilgrims, some are suffering from dysentery and influenza.
