Saudi Prince, several officials killed in helicopter crash
Cairo: Saudi Prince Mansur bin Maqran died on Sunday when the helicopter in which he was riding crashed, a media report said.
The Saudi Al Arabiya television channel said that the helicopter was transporting several officials at the time of the crash, but provided no further details, Efe news reported.
The deputy governor of Saudi Arabia's southern Asir province and several colleagues were killed in a helicopter crash, Saudi state TV Ekhbariya reported.
Local newspaper Okaz reported the helicopter went down while the officials were taking a tour of an area near the coast in Asir, which borders Yemen.
The reports did not elaborate on the cause of the crash.
