Plane crashes into a building after being blown away by heavy winds
A privately- owned jet blew off a runway and crashed into a building near Malta International airport on Wednesday night, reports Khaleej Times.
Pictures showed the aircraft’s nose slammed and embedded into the side of the offices, near to the airport.
It has now emerged that the plane ploughed through the dense by strong winds.
Following the crash, the Malta International Airport’s rescue and fire services were sent to deal with the crash, along with the Bureau of Accident Investigation, police and armed forces, Standard reported.
No reports of injuries have been reported.
