Two BNP leaders killed in road accident in Saudi Arabia
Two leaders of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) were killed in a road accident in Saudi Arabia on Sunday. They were returning home after participating in Omrah.
The accident took place around 12.30 PM (Bangladeshi Time) in Riyad's Wadi Al Dawasi area.
The deceased were identified as Abdullah al Mamun and Ali Asgar. Both of them were BNP leaders of Jubail state of Saudi Arabia.
Abdullah was the General Secretary of Jubail State BNP and Ali Asgar was Vice President. Their hometown is in Shunamganj's Dirai.
Three people also had been injured in the accident. The injured are Jubail state BNP President Sheikh Abdul Mannan and the organizing secretary Jashim Uddin Nonai.
Sheikh Abdul Mannan's hometown is in Manikganj's Singair and Jashimuddin's hometown is in Chittagong's Ranguniya.
No official was available from the Bangladeshi embassy to brief about the accident.
