Madina: Three Bangladeshis were killed in a road accident in Mekka of Saudi Arabia on local time Tuesday afternoon.

Jeddah Consulate General of Bangladesh AKM Shahidul Karim confirmed the death of Bangladeshis in the road accident which took place at about Saudi time 3:00pm.

The deceased are Nazrul Islam Shuman, a resident of Lakshmipur, Shumon Molla of Sripur upazila in Gazipur, and Mohammad Alam, a resident of Kapasia. All of them were in their early thirties.

Shahidul Karim said, the bodies are kept at Noor Hospital Morgue in Mekka.

It has not been decided yet, whether the bodies will be buried in Saudi Arabia or send back to Bangladesh, said the consulate officials.
