Eid in Saudi Arabia on Friday
Bangladesh ready to observe Eid Saturday
Saudi Arabia: Muslims in Saudi Arabia are observing Chand Raat (when Muslims gather to spot the new moon) this evening.
The sighting of the moon on Chand Raat will determine the date for Eid or Eid-ul-Fitr celebration in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
This will also mark the end of Ramadan and beginning of Shawwal month.
Muslims in KSA will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr either on June 15 or June 16 depending on moon sighting. A new month in Islamic calendar, which follows the lunar cycle, starts with the sighting of the moon on 29th of every month.
