Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived here on Sunday to offer Ziarat at the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

A Saudi Royal special flight that left King Abdul Aziz International Airport Jeddah at 10:05am carrying the Prime Minister landed at Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport, Madina at 10:45am (local time).

Deputy Governor of Madinah received the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister, now on a three-day official visit to Saudi Arabia at the invitation of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, will offer ziarat and perform Zoh’r prayers at the Rawza Mubarak of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH).

After Iftar, the Prime Minister will leave Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz International Airport at 9:30pm. She is scheduled to arrive at King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah at 10:30pm.

Earlier in Makkah, Sheikh Hasina along with her younger sister Sheikh Rehana performed the holy ‘Umrah’ early Sunday.

The Prime Minister first performed 'tawaf' around the holy Ka'bah Sharif and later walked and ran between Safa and Marwa hills.

She also offered prayers seeking divine blessings for the people of Bangladesh as well as continued peace, progress and prosperity of the Muslim Ummah.
