Bangladeshi hajj pilgrim dies in Medina

Medina: A Bangladeshi hajj pilgrim died of heart attack in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
Rehan Uddin, aged around 72 years old, a resident of the village of Kashkama of Anwara in Chittagong, died of heart attack at about 4:30pm (Saudi time).
Medina Hajj official Hamidur Rahman told NTV Online Rehan Uddin’s passport number is BK 0204691 and identity (ID) card number is 0376208.
This year so far, four Bangladeshi hajj pilgrims died in Saudi Arabia. Two of them died in Mecca, while one in Medina and another in Jeddah.
This time some 10,000 pilgrims will perform hajj from Bangladesh under government management while 91,758 under private management.
The first hajj flight carrying 401 Bangladeshi pilgrims to Saudi Arabia took off on 4 August.
The return hajj flights will start on 17 September.
