Bangladeshi human trafficker arrested in Libya

Dhaka: Libyan police arrested a Bangladesh national on Thursday on charge of trafficking 37 Bangladeshis to that country.
The arrestee was identified as Sujan, hailing from Noakhali.
Following allegations from Bangladeshi workers in Libya, a team of police with the help of the Bangladesh Embassy in Libya arrested him, said a Facebook post of the embassy.
Recently 37 Bangladeshi job seekers, who were trafficked to Libya illegally, were detained in Gariyan city of Libya. They were sent to ‘Al-Hamra’ detention centre.
