A newsreader of a television channel in Russia was startled by the barking of a dog during the live news broadcast.

The anchor was presenting news about demolition in Moscow when she suddenly heard the barking of a dog.

In the video we can see that when she tries to concentrate on the news reading, a huge black labrador pops up from underneath the desk.

The footage of the incident, which has gone viral, shows the dog crawling up the desk.

According to the NDTV , the anchor even gave the eager pooch a pat on the head before confessing on air that this was why she was a cat person.
