CCTV footage from a lift has sparked outrage after it appears to show the moment an elderly woman ‘forces’ a young boy to kiss her.

In the clip, the pair are seen standing in the elevator together before the woman, thought to be about 60, suddenly leans over and attempts to peck the boy on the lips.

He pushes her away several times before the footage cuts off.

It is not clear what happened next, reports the Mirror.

The clip has appeared on several Chinese news sites and has caused a flurry of comments from horrified viewers.

One viewer wrote: ‘Really terrible,’ while another simply added: ‘Nauseating’.

Others have suggested that the pair could be related and the woman is simply trying to get a kiss from her grandson.

The relationship between the boy and the woman is unknown.

It is not clear whether the footage is being investigated by police.
