Book launch: Abu Sufian’s ‘In The Streets of Paris’
The launching ceremony of the book ‘In The Streets of Paris’ by Abu Sufian was held on Friday, 13 July 2018 at Alliance Française de Dhaka.
Professor Dr Syed Manzoorul Islam was present on the occasion as the chief guest. Writer and associate editor of ‘Daily Prothom Alo’ Anisul Hoq, adviser of ATN Bangla television Nawajish Ali Khan, Seyed Mousa Hosseini, cultural counsellor, Iran Cultural Centre and Dr Syed Rashidul Hasan, founder chairman of Tourism and Hospitality Management, University of Dhaka also attended the ceremony as special guests. M Bruno Plasse, director, Alliance Française de Dhaka presided over the event.
Through this travelogue ‘In The Streets of Paris’; Abu Sufian explores the beauty of Paris. This travelogue will make readers hungry for Paris, for cheese and wine, for art and culture, the natural beauty and for the kind of street life.
Abu Sufian is quite known as the editor of a travel magazine ‘Vromon’ to its reader. The Bangla version of this book titled ‘Paris er Pothey Pothey’ was first published in 2003. Before that, it had been publishing in ‘Daily Prothom Alo’ as a series.
