Body of Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF arrives

Thakurgaon: The body of the Bangladeshi, who died in an Indian hospital after sustaining bullet injuries as members of Border Security Force (BSF) opened fire on cattle traders in Chanpasa border area of Haripur upazila in Thakurgaon, arrived early on Tuesday.
The deceased is Mobarok, a resident of Magura village of the upazila and a cattle trader.
Solaiman Ali, company commander of Chanpasa BOP, said members of BSF handed over the body of Mobarok to BGB members on Chanpasa border at about 12.30am.
Earlier, Mobarok died in an Indian hospital on Saturday after receiving bullet injuries as the BSF members from Kamarpara camp opened fire on them when they went to 346 no pillar area of the border for bringing cattle on 9 September.
Mainul managed to flee with injuries but BSF detained Mobarok.
Later Mainul succumbed to his injuries at Rangpur Medical College Hospital on 16 September.
The BSF members took Mobarok to Raiganj Hospital in West Bengal where he succumbed to his injuries on Saturday afternoon.
