Chittagong: It’s legal according to international and Bangladesh laws to kill firebombers to save people, said Awami League publicity secretary Hasan Mahmud.

While addressing a workers’ rally organised by Chittagong WASA Employees’ League in the port city, the leader said, ‘If killing of the French magazine office attackers was not the violation of human rights, if that was legal; if killing of Boston bombers was legal, then according to international laws, Bangladesh laws, then shooting and killing of these firebombers is legal. Those who are instigating such attacks should also be tried and this is very timely decision.’   

Hasan Mahmud claimed that Awami League always wants to continue discussions. But that cannot be with a witch. No state in this world sits with terrorists or warmongers. US did not hold discussions with Islamic States, he added.
