Munshiganj: Two persons were killed by thunderbolt at Roypura village under Gazaria upazila of Munshiganj on Saturday noon.

Victims are Akhter and Jane Alam. Both of them hail from Roypura village.

Gazaria police sub inspector (SI) of Yasin Munshi said thunderbolt struck Akhter and Jane Alam when they were catching fish in a nearby wetland.

Yasin Munshi said the bodies will be sent to Munshiganj Sadar Hospital Morgue for autopsy.
