Pabna: Two people were killed and two others were injured in a collision between a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and a utility vehicle, Nasimon, at Aladipur on the Pabna-Nagarbari Highway in Bera upazila on Tuesday night.

The deceased are Akbar Hossain, and Abdur Rahim, both residents of Durgapur Ghoshpara village in Sujanagar upazila.

Witnesses said an auto-rickshaw collided with a Nasimon, utility vehicle used for public transport in the area at about 10:00pm, leaving four passengers of both vehicles injured.

The injured were taken to Pabna General Hospital where doctors declared Akbar dead.

Later, Rahim died undergoing treatment in the hospital.
