Satkhira: Miscreants vandalised some 15 idols at a Hindu temple at Karmakarpara in Ashashuni upazila in Satkhira early on Wednesday.

Karmakarpara Sarbajanin Durga Puja temple president Amit Som Ghosh said the miscreants stormed the temple in the area and damaged 15 idols of different Hindu goddesses.

The Ashashuni police said the incident came to light on Wednesday morning when devotees went to the temple.
