‘Keep faith on me over Teesta’: Mamata
Visiting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said ‘Consent has been given regarding the land boundary agreement between India and Bangladesh.'
She also said ‘Keep faith on me regarding the Teesta water sharing treaty.’
Mamata made the statement in a views exchange meeting with the cultural personalities at the Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka on Friday.
Mamata said ‘People of the two countries will remain happy if they can come close to the minds of each other avoiding political and geographical disparity.’
Mamata came to Dhaka on Thursday on a three-day visit to attend a programme of International Mother Language Day as the chief guest.
