Jhenidah: Police recovered the body of a man from a pond at Boalia village in Moheshpur upazila of Jhenidah on Saturday.

The deceased is Abul Hossain, a resident of the village.

Local people spotted Abul’s body floating in the pond at afternoon and called police, said the Moheshpur police.

Later, police recovered the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital Morgue for an autopsy.

Victim’s family members said Abul had gone missing three days ago.
