Sirajganj: A man and his minor son drowned in the river Korotoa in Ullapara upazila of Sirajganj on Sunday.

The deceased are Hasu, a worker of a sweets shop and his son Shakil of the upazila.

Ullapara police sub inspector Alhaj Uddin said they drowned in the river this noon while they were taking bath.

After their disappearance locals went for search and recovered their bodies from the river at about 2:00pm.
