Sirajganj: Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members on Monday arrested two young men along with a firearm and two bullets from a restaurant at Hatikumrul intersection in Salonga upazila of Sirajganj.

The arrestees are Matiur Rahman Dablu, and Sajjad Hossain Khokan, 32, residents of Shalbaria village.

A team of RAB-12 conducted a raid on Food Village Restaurant adjacent to Dhaka-Bogra Highway and arrested the duo, said Camp Commander of Sirajganj Camp of RAB-12 Assistant Superintendent of Police Hasibul Alam.

RAB personnel also arrested a foreign-made pistol, a magazine, two rounds bullet and two mobile phone sets from them, Hasibul added.

A case was filed with Salonga Police Station in connection with the incident.
