1 jailed for fraudulence in teacher recruitment test

Pabna: A mobile court in Pabna on Friday sentenced a man to two years’ imprisonment over using mobile phone to answer questions during the teacher recruitment test for primary schools.
The convict is Abu Zahid, son of Shamser Ali, hailing from Baishgari village in Santhia upzila of the district.
Sources said a mobile court led by assistant commissioner of Pabna district Solaiman Ali caught Abu Zahid red-handed while he was answering the questions through text messages he was receiving on his mobile phone at the exam centre at Pabna Government Girls College.
Later, the court sentenced him to two years’ jail in this connection.
