Sylhet: Police in separate drives detained two activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir along with 103 crude bombs and two pipe guns from different parts of Fenchuganj, Sylhet on Saturday.

The detainees were Mozammel Hossain and Rumman Miah.

Fenchuganj Police officer in-charge Nandan Kanti Dhar said a team of police conducted a drive in Ashighor area of the upazila at about 3:30am and recovered eight crude bombs.

Later, the law enforcers conducted a raid in Faridpur Hatubhanga area at about 7:15am and detained the two Shibir activists along with 95 crude bombs and two pipe guns, said OC.

They were taken to Fenchuganj Police Station.
