BGB to deploy dog squad at Sylhet airport
Dhaka: Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) will deploy dog squad to enhance security at Sylhet Osmani International Airport on Wednesday.
Director of the airport Hafiz Uddin Ahmad confirmed the matter.
High officials of the BGB visited the airport on Tuesday.
Sources said strict security searches were being made on belongings of the passengers, especially those from England and Middle East.
Earlier on 26 October, security had been beefed up at the country’s three international airports in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet apprehending following intelligence warning.
