Savar: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan on Wednesday said the attack on policemen in Ashulia is similar to the recent attacks on bloggers and publishers.

The minister came up with the remark while talking to reporters at a press briefing at Savar Enam Medical College Hospital.

Action will be taken to arrest the killers, Khan assured.

‘Those who are involved in the killing mission are enemies to human being as well as the nation. They are brutal and cowards,’ said the Home boss.

‘Our intelligence unit is very active and we will certainly find out the assassinators,’ the ruling party lawmaker added.

Asaduzzaman came here today following the murder of an industrial policeman by some miscreants in the morning.

Acting Inspector General of Police Jabed Patwari, local Member of Parliament Dr Enamul Rahman, among others, were present at the press briefing.

Industrial policeman Mukul was killed and his colleague Nur-E-Alam injured as some miscreants made a sudden attack on them and hacked them indiscriminately at Baraipara in Ashulia in the morning.
