Oishee gives parents 60 sleeping pills

Dhaka: Oishee Rahman, daughter of Special Branch inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman, gave her parents 60 sleeping pills mixed with coffee before killing them, says a case charge-sheet.
The charge-sheet filed on the case over murder of police officer Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman, said chemical test found presence of Nitrous, Tenin, and Temazepam 3, which are used for sleeping pills.
The charge-sheet also read Oishee killed her parents by her own.
Moreover, the blood mark discovered on Swapna Rahman’s bangle matched with Oishee’s blood sample.
Earlier, on 9 March, Detective Branch inspector Abul Khayer Matubbar submitted two charge-sheets to Dhaka chief metropolitan magistrate’s court.
The other accused named on the charge-sheet are Oishee’s friend Asaduzzaman Jony, and domestic help, Shumi Akhter.
A charge-sheet was filed against three persons including Oishee, and the other one is filed against Shumi Akhter under juvenile law.
Shumi Akhter and Oishee gave confessional deposition in the court.
A juvenile court under Dhaka additional metropolitan session court 1 is conducting the trial of the case filed against Shumi.
On 16 August, 2013, police recovered the bodies of SB Inspector Mahfuzur Rahman and his wife Swapna Rahman from their Chamelibagh residence in the capital.
Later, Oishee surrendered to the police confessing to her involvement in the killing.
