Dhaka: The 36th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) preliminary examination will be held on 8 January.

The test will be held simultaneously in Dhaka, Chittagong, Rajshahi, Barisal, Khulna, Sylhet and Rangpur centres, Diana Islam, public relations officer of Bangladesh Public Service Commission said in Dhaka on Thursday.

The two-hour exam will start at 9:30am.
