Chuadanga: Police recovered the bullet-hit body of a missing person from a field at Bhulatiya village of Sadar upazila in Chuadanga on Friday morning, reports UNB.

The deceased is Rabiul Islam, 44, son of Abul Hossain of Noldanga village in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah. He was accused in a case filed in connection with a clash.

Family sources said Rabiul remained missing since some miscreants picked him up identifying themselves as DB police from Bishoykhali bazar area in Jhenaidah town on Tuesday while he was returning home after appearing before a court.

A general diary was filed in this connection.

Additional superintendent of police Belayet Hossain said, local farmers found his bullet-hit body in the field at about 12:00pm and informed police.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue.
